As the author I strongly recommend this accommodation, and I am not alone check out the reports on the trip advisor web sites, although a new enterprise, it has received high praise. I cannot do justice in a few lines here so check out the website above.
Typical of their hospitality owners Mandy and Andrew volunteered Poplar Cottage as a rest stop from the very first walk. Any Hawkdean walker who has used this rest stop will confirm the stunning views across the valley to the woods beyond. It is a haven for wildlife, being the national RSPB bird garden winner. The residence is ideal for arts and crafts, reflexology, massage, photography, with fantastic walking on your door step.
